An action comic following three different story lines, which entangle to tell a plot in a rich sci-fi setting.
This 67 page comic tells the story of the lumberjack Jack. One evening, he meets a young woman in a dicey situation. He decides to help her out. Soon he realizes in what kind of situation he got himself into. However he faces the adversities he sees himself confronted with during a particularly tough night.
This comic was inspired by 80s action movies such as "Rambo" or "Cliffhanger". I love the simple premiss of these movie no complex story telling or stuff to think about, just turn off your brain and anjoy the show. I tried to tell a similar story in this comic.
Inspired by the melancholic mood of the dilapidated landscapes of the USSR, this comic tries to capture the story of some children living in a city from bygone better times.
This was a very personal project and also served as part of my thesis for art school. The comic consists of 62 pages, drawn in pencil and digitally colored.
This comic is a work in progress I am currently working on. Taking place on spaceships and a newly colonized planet, this story aims to tell an exciting story, which hopefully offers a good opportunity for escapism and childlike joy for colorful characters.
The idea for this comic was born out of some concept art I did. By casually sketching and collecting ideas, I created a whole new world. Filled with big corporations, raiders who would steal from those corporations, and some rare, mysterious alien creatures.
The more I drew of this world, the more I asked myself what kind of story I would tell in this world. And just as casually as I had created this world, just as casually I began to tell its story in a comic. (coming soon...ish)
